About
Dr. Ginny Chan is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist based in Georgia. Throughout her training
and career, Dr. Chan has worked extensively with persons with serious mental illness, personality issues, and
trauma. She also provides psychological testing services to better understand individuals and inform treatment
planning in an evidence-based approach. Dr. Chan is an adjunct faculty member at the Emory University
School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences serving on committees and supervising psychiatry
residents on psychotherapy.
Dr. Chan obtained her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a forensic specialization from The Graduate Center and
John Jay College, City University of New York. She completed her internship training at the Manhattan
Psychiatric Center in New York and her forensic postdoctoral fellowship at the Emory University School of
Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
